Bio

I am currently a Research Fellow/Assistant Professor at Coventry Universit'y’s Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations. I am also attached to the Institute for Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology (University of Oxford), and the Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion (University of Oxford). Prior to this, I completed my undergraduate and doctoral degrees at the University of Otago. Most of my current research is on the psychology of religion and the philosophical issues associated with the scientific study of religion.

In my spare time, I am an Associate Priest at the parish church of St Mary Magdalen, Oxford and the Web Editor for the St Mary Magdalen School of Theology.

Also, I am an avid listener of podcasts, a user and collector of headphones and fountain pens, and an appreciator of all things dinosaur-related.
